3.Functions and features:

Drop side semi-trailers are more practical with side board installed on both sides. Compared with flatbed semi‑trailers, stake semi‑trailers are fitted with side panels on the basis of the flatbed body for greater practicality. Besides transporting containers and general cargo, they can also carry various bulk goods.

• The height of the side panels can be customized as per customer requirements, normally ranging from 600mm to 2000mm. The side panels can be customized as single‑layer or double‑layer according to customer requirements.

• Container twist locks can be retained in conjunction with the side panels, enabling the trailer to support diversified transportation functions and enhancing its operational versatility.

• Featuring an open side rail structure, the trailer enables convenient and flexible loading and unloading operations. It is ideally suited for transporting a wide range of general cargo, including bulk goods, building materials, agricultural and sideline products, and daily necessities.
• The trailer features high strength and strong load capacity. The frame is mostly designed with through beams for even stress distribution, making it ideal for heavy-duty transportation.
• The height of the side rails and the length of the cargo body can be customized to meet different demands, providing strong versatility for a wide range of applications.
• It has a simple structure, low maintenance cost, high reliability, and excellent operating economy.
• Side-tipping and rear-tipping functions are optional. Some models are equipped with a self-dumping system to achieve high unloading efficiency.

• To reduce tare weight, the single‑tire 385/65 R22.5 is also a reliable option.

• To further reduce tare weight, aluminum‑alloy side panels are a better alternative. They deliver superior corrosion resistance and lighter dead weight, offering more options for customers with higher budgets.

• To achieve higher transport efficiency, some countries permit the use of super‑link dropside semi‑trailers to meet heavy‑duty transportation requirements.

• To meet local regulations in some countries and achieve higher load‑carrying capacity, multi‑axle dropside semi‑trailers with 4‑axle, 5‑axle or more axles are an inevitable choice for certain customers. Air suspension and lift‑axle devices can be equipped to adjust the number of ground‑contact axles under empty and loaded conditions.

• For transporting bulky light cargo, an extra upper fence can be added on top of the dropside semi‑trailer. The side panels, posts and fences can be designed to be detachable. This expands vehicle functions to carry livestock, poultry, fruits and vegetables, delivering enhanced multi‑purpose flexibility.

4.SHIPMENT:

As the trailers dimensions exceed standard shipping container sizes, we usually adopt 40ft transportation with rear end cuttable. We also provide 45ft transport, break bulk cargo shipping and ro-ro vessel transportation.
